- About Us : The Abantu Group is a holding company which will soon be registered in Maurituis, South Africa, Kenya and ZimbabBEKFAR INVESTMENTS (PRIVATE) LTD. The company was established in 2004. The Abantu Group wholly owns Abantu Foods and we are looking to establish a retail operation called Abantu SuperStores and a chicken breeding operation called Abantu Poultry. Abantu Foods is an export oreintated trading company. We supply Fast Moving Comsumable Goods (FMCGs) , fresh agricultural produce and home electronics. The Abautu Group is an African company, which prides itself on doing business in Africa. The name 'Abantu' means 'People' in Nguni languages and the business is designed for the people of Africa. We believe in empowering African farmers and entrepernuers by allowing them to develop their businesses by supplying us with their produce & products. We aim to find the best and most viable markets for our products. We also runTrade Consultancy business based in Cape Town with partner firms in Johannesburg, South Africa and Harare, Zimbabwe. It focuses on Mineral trading. We have access to buyers in South Africa, Kenya and China. Basically, we only deal in bulk mineral ore and refined products. We buy and sell wholesale. We prefer to facilitate business in which the buyers and sellers sign the necessary contracts and we get commission from the seller of between 3-6% of the total contract. We only deal in 12 month contracts. We would need to sign a Master Fee Protection Contract with the Seller. Due to the fact that we deal with more than one buyer we feel we can facilitate deals of between 100 000-200 000MT per month. We would prefer for the seller to sell and transport the ore or processed product to our various buyers.
