It was established in 2001 by two brothers, Chris and Pierre Du Toit, who both spent 10 years with Canon Office Automation prior to the launch of the Rental Finance business. It was there that they Custom Capitalre both first exposed to the world of asset based lending. Chris (as Managing Director) and Pierre (as Sales Director) of Canon Kwa-Zulu Natal were directly involved in establishing financing lines with commercial banks and the day to day operations of asset based lending
