Our family has been living in Maras since the nineteenth century until these days. We owned the salt-pools which were passed it on from generations in the family. We promote and sell the famous Inca Maras salt and other Peruvian products locally as well as internationally to retail and wholesale. In Peru we have managed to build a reputation on a national level and our clients express positive feedback about working with us. On an international level and now with presence in Europe we aim to accomplish same results. The Inca salt mines are located in Maras, Cusco Peru. Maras is a town in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. 7,167 inhabitants (census 2007). For many generation the salt is the main economic sources of living for the population. By consuming the Inca salt we are helping the Mara’s families. The salt is hand harvested by the locals and exists already more then 2000 years. The Inca salt can be presented in different kinds; Pink salt, fine salt, grinded salt, non-grinded salt and extra salt. The Inca Maras salt has 84 minerals, the most important for human consumption are; calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc and Iodine. If you have questions we will be very happy to answer them!
