It is this caring that will stands as a hallmark of love, development and care in Africa.Mandate:Policies for African Development. - Conception, planning and implementation, in accordance with set rules and regulations, of projects and programs for sustainable Development of the African States in the field of transportation including roads, jetties and waterways, health., employment, industrialization, agriculture and fisheries, housing and urban Development, water supply, electricity and telecommunications. - Surveying the African states in order to ascertain measures, which are necessary to promote its physical and socio-economic development. - Preparing master plans and schemes designed to promote the physical Development of the Central, West and Southern Africa regions. - Implementation of all the measures approved for the Development of Africa and its region by the International Communities in acceptance with the Federal and State commissions in Africa.- Identify factors inhibiting the Development of the Africa States and assisting the member states in the formulation and implementation of policies to ensure sound and efficient management of their resources.- Assessing and reporting on any project being funded or carried out in any region by Organization of African Union, including non-governmental organizations, General Public/Civil Society, as well as ensuring that funds released for such projects are properly utilized. - Tackling ecological and environmental problems that arise from the exploration of oil mineral in the region and advising the Organization of African Union and the member states on the prevention and control of oil spillages, gas flaring and environmental pollution. - Executing such other works and performing such other functions, which in the option of the Commission are required for the sustainable Development of Africa and its people.PROJECTS Key Activities and Programs of Orient for DevelopmentOrient for Development sees to the implementation of our mandate by executing relevant projects in the entire region. Projects are conceptualized, designed and executed based on extensive consultation with locals, input from interested parties and critical analysis by experts. Orient for Development is therefore a good harvest of concrete achievements as evidenced in the array of projects and programs we have embarked on.
