- About Us : Salina Industries (1972) Ltd. produces and supplies film, bags and conical sleeves of single and multilayer polypropylene. Salina Industries is located in Upper Nazareth, in the Galilee region of Israel. A team of 240 employees works 24 hSalina Industries Ltd.s in three shifts, year round, in premises encompassing an area of 20,000 square meters. The production is fully integrated from the extrusion process to the finished product. All of Salina&＃039;s BOPP and CPP polypropylene products are highly glossy, strong and transparent. Salina&＃039;s polypropylene packaging has many characteristics which make it especially suitable for packing flowers, potted plants and herbs, vegetables and fruit, bread and baked goods, as well as textile. In addition to the finished product, Salina produces film for automatic packaging machines. All of Salina&＃039;s products may be printed in up to 8 colors. Antifog treatment is available. Both bags and film are manufactured according to customer specifications regarding dimensions and thickness. In addition to macro or micro perforation, microscopic (laser) perforation is available which is intended to prolong the shelf life of fresh vegetables and fruit and "ready to eat" salads. Salina&＃039;s quality assurance system complies with ISO 9001: 2000 standards. All of Salina&＃039;s products undergo rigorous quality control testing, meeting international packaging standards. Products used for food packing are manufactured using materials approved by the FDA and EEC. Certification by the BRC/IOP (a leading standard for food packaging material) enables salina to supply to major supermarket chains worldwide.</p>
