The company manufactured top-rated storage peripherals and disk arrays and was sold in 1996. He then focused on utility software for storage devices for the next three years, and sold that business in the middle of '99, allowing him to find the time to found techbargains.com. Products he has designed include bulletin board software, game software, RAID disk subsystems, SCSI host adapters, backup software, security software, disk management software, driver software, CD mastering software, and caching acceleration software. He has also written a book, Guide to Storage. (Unfortunately, he does not get any royalties any more if you buy it!)
