- About Us : The south India Rubber Works - 'SIRWO' Was established in 1948 in Kerela. Re-located to Madras the capital of the south in 1996 with state of the art machinary in the field of rubber.The South India Rubber Works in house rubber technologists are trained to develop products to suit the various needs of our clients. Our rich experience in the field of rubber has won us the confidence of many a customer including citations from the Government Of India. Today we have a client base of more than 1500 customers both domestic and world wide. Our focus area is in the manufacturing of rubber sheets and mats, both in natural and synthetic rubber. We also specialise in manufactring bellows and jet pack hoses for use in fuel lines aboard ships and other ocean going vessels. Our reasons for growth are attributed to quality, prompt delivery and personal attention given to all clients. Our focus areas include:- a)Manufacture of Diamond grooved lagging sheets.These are used in the lagging or lining of pulleys or rollers on which conveyor belts run. These sheets enhance the life of the conveyor belt by reducing damage caused due to friction between belt and roller. We also manufacture the solution used for bonding the sheets to the roller. B)Highly anti- abrasive rubber sheets used for lining walls of shot blasting machines thereby preventing damage to the machine during blasting operation. C) Anti-fatigue mats for workers who stand and operate machines for extended periods of time.These mats have proven to reduce fatigue and increase productivity of the worker thereby reducing overhead costs to a large extent. d) Electrical insulation rubber mats with anti-skid top surface for use in front of control pannels, capable of withstanding voltages between 11,000 - 40,000 volts. e)Miscellaneous rubber products like oil seals, components etc.
