• About Us : Isla Exports dba Iguana Depot was incorporated in Puerto Rico with the mission to protect IGUANA DEPOT forests against deforestation, stabilize the iguana population in the island, develop the local economy by creating a new source of income for its residents, and promote and sell iguana products globally. Our farm, processing plant, and warehouse will be centrally located on a 3,191 square meters (34,335 sq2) farm in the town of Isabela, Puerto Rico. In Puerto Rico, commercialization of iguana meat was banned until recently due to its proliferation. Derivative products from the iguana are endless and Iguana Depot will aggressively develop the following products: Meat, Eggs, Hides, Hair Products, Health Products, Pet food, and Pet Trade. Iguana Depot is the first company promoted by PRIDCO (Puerto Rico Development Company) which means that the government trusts our company to export iguana products. To become promoted by PRIDCO the company went through a rigorous process to test feasibility of the project, the management, quality control procedures, and many other areas. At this point, we are waiting for the last permits and certifications to start our venture. We are collecting information about companies interested in selling, importing, and distributing our products. We want to establish business relationships with a small group of interested parties in the USA, the Caribbean, Central and South America, Europe and Asia.
