Comparing with casting material, forged valve body offer the advantages of more uniform structure, greater density, higher strength integrity, enhanced dimensional characteristics and closer dimensional tolerances so that the screwed end forged steel globe valves are applicable for medium situation with high pressure and high temperature. 3.
