- About Us : Here is a brief introduction of my factories (bothtannery & leather garment factory) : Both factories are situates in south part of China (cantonprovince, Xian hui county) , a short distance from hong kong, therefore it is very easy to access. Transporting by turbo jet will take on average two and half-hA-Tree Factory.s, otherwise by road from (guangzhou) will take about one and a quarter of hours. Both factories are divided into two separate buildings, the distance between two buildings are approximately 2 km. Tannery was built in 1990, with total area 33, 680 sq. M. for the production section the building area is 11, 226sq. M, with 150 labours. On average per month we produce 1, 000, 000sq. Feet of pig's leather. 80% of our raw materials (rawskins) are come from China domestic and 20% will be imported from Japan. The main principle for tannery is to manufacture pig's leather (pignappa, pig suede, pig split, washable suede, embossed, print skin and drum dye. Etc. ) , provide and selling to leather manufacturer for further fabrication into leather garment for exportation. Until year 1996 I have set up my own leather garment factory. Area of the building is 1, 100sq. M. having 90 machines and 150 labours. Average monthly we manufacture 12, 000 garments. At the beginning we only accept trades transfer from other factories, manufacturing leather garments exporting to Europe and u. S. A. our customers include: wal-mart, burlington, jcp, next, gap, auchan, count international, pilot & river island. Etc. Due to both of my factories are in charge from the beginning till the finishing of the leather garments. Consequently timing will be more flexible and also on the quality control, this helps to increase competition on pricing (ex-factoryprice) . As a result in 1998 we already started to carry out on wholesale and allow direct ordering. By having years of experience on manufacturing and exporting, following leather factory business to business development, the leather factory will be having another new building, with 2, 000sq. M. including 2 storeys. Machines will also be increase to 150 with 250 labours. Planning to produce 20, 000-25, 000 garments per month. Building will be finished at the end of 2001. In addition having a contact point in hong kong, this will benefit customers to contact and arrangement. On reducing further supplementary fee. All production, quotation and exporting business will follow by the leather garment factory directly.
