- About Us : The company is currently providing plastic bags to a number of organisations. I am writing to you with a request to help us in adam brothers fundraising venture. Our organisation is called the Pakistani Youth Forum and for the past 3 years we have been working in the Crosland Moor ward of Huddersfield with young people between the ages of 12-19 in partnership with Kirklees Young Peoples Service. Our aim is to help build the capacity and skills of young people through a series of leadership training, recreational activities, youth forums and residentials. We also support young people in the formal educational aspects of their development such as CV writing, application forms for employment and training and job placements for which we have taken on a number of young people from your school. Through suggestions made by the young people and feedback from parents and the community we were urged to do something that would make young people more responsible for their actions and help young people with identifying a destination in life. After consultations we came up with the conclusion to organise a trip to Pakistan/ Kashmir, Asia Earthquake area. The reasons behind this is so that young people can experience the devastation in the area and view first hand the effects that this has had on the lives of the young people, families and communities in the area. We hope that they can use this experience to reflect and have comparisons drawn upon the amenities they possess in England.
