State of the art equipments are available for automatic conformal coating using Parylene coating material. Test: AEC has in-house capabilities to design and develop customized test equipment(Software/Hardware) and integrate off-shelf test equipment to accommodate customer requirements. Furthermore. AEC has the capability to develop the Test Program Set(TPS) for Functional and In-Circuit tests(Software& fixtures) based on the customer test specifications for any Digital and Analog electronic Boards, module or LRU(Line replacement Unit). The types of testing done at AEC are: First Article Testing(FAT) In-Circuit Testing CCA Functional Testing LRU Functional Testing Environmental Testing Environmental Stress Screening(ESS) Other Testing(Pressure, Bump, etc) R&D Design Capabilities Some of the key design competencies that have been developed are in the fields of embedded software, digital signal processing, encryption techniques and RF engineering. In addition, engineers have access to the latest CAD design tools for performing computer simulations. The R&D laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art testing equipment, and the capability of performing in-house prototyping. R&D activities at AEC are divided into four sections; namely, Product Development, System Development, R&D Services, and Product Market& Analysis. The R&D department plays an important role in several areas as discussed below. Product Development- The core activity of R&D is related to product development. This activity includes the design, development, parts procurement, prototype building, programming and preparation of a technical data package for manufacture. Technical Support- R&D engineers work with Business Development and the Program office staff to address complex engineering and systems integration issues. Business Development Support- In many cases, Business Development calls upon R&D resources to evaluate and advise the Business Development staff on the applicability of product trends and technologies.
