- About Us : Afi trade & management corporation is a subsidiary of shibil trade corporation. Both companies are accredited by the philippine government to trade and export various agricultural products such as bananas and fresh coconuts and also frozen and canned tuna. AFI Trade Management Corporation started to ship cavendish bananas to Seoul, Korea since january of 2003 to the present at the rate of three 3 x 40 reefer container vans per week. Late of the same year, shipments of bananas to vladivostok, Russia were also made successfull. In the middle of 2005, our company have shipped cavendish bananas to Izmir, Turkey at the rate of 2 x 40 reefer container vans per week. Shipments to Turkey continues until the present. Shipments to Dubai and Kuwait continues also up to the present. We are expanding our markets to the middle east particularly. With the marketing agreement we have with banana growers cooperative in our region comprising of more or less 600 hectares, we look forward to supply not less than 10 containers vans per week to new prospective buyers. Our objective is to reach out to other countries who may want to do business with us. We are also a trader/exporter of fresh and canned tuna. Both products are sourced from general santos city, the tuna capital of the philippines, if not the whole of Asia.
