Khao Lak is an excellent relaxing location for jumping th the Similan islands, Surin islands Marine National Park only 60 km. West from the main land. At the Similan islands, Surin islands Marine National Park there are a maze of different types of diving from shallow protected reef to more demanding open water dives with huge underwater boulders creating a fantastic under water scenery. Because the group of islands are ranger protected and away from the main land, the environment is bristing with a huge variety of marine life not just fish population but a massive show of soft and hard corals resulting in a mirage of colours, . At many of the sites there is every thing from macro to large pelagic fishes such as Rays, Leopard and White tip Sharks, Barracuda the list goes on, also we have regular Manta Ray and Whale shark sightings through the season from mid October to early May at Koh Bon, Koh Ta Chai and Richelieu Rock. We also offer PADI courses, Discover Scuba, Open water Diver, Advanced Open Water diver, Emergency First Response, Rescue Diver and Divemaster, depending on your schedule, most of the theory for the open water diver (classroom work & pool) is done in Khao Lak and then we do all the dives in the Similan islands or local dive sites as to your requirements, The Advanced open water course is done on our liveaboard M / V Linda, what a fantastic way to start diving, crystal clear waters, visibility 15 M. to 40 M., and corals reefs full of marine life, Diving Day Trips, This is for guests who don't have the budget or the time to do a liveaboard safari, also for those of you who want to enjoy the comfort of your hotel in the evenings in Khao Lak. We have daily trips to the local wrick and reef dive sites, our dive team are always there to help and guide, if you need them.
