• About Us : Gypsum group is a branch of Mohamed A. Al-Rajhi & Sons Co. It's the first group for Mohamed A. Al-Rajhi & Sons Co. in heavy industries & mining industries, the gypsum group consists of tow factories which are Yamama gypsum factory in Riyadh and Al-Watani gypsum factory in Yanbu, they are specialized in powder gypsum, and the production capacity for the group is 300. 000 ton / year. Also the whole products of ceramic adhesive which manufactured in Yamama gypsum factory. The idea to build a gypsum factory raised up in the end of year 1994 because there was a shortage of the local with the imported gypsum, hence the idea came to build the factory to fulfill that shortage in the local market. After a while the location of the factory has been decided closely to the gypsum quarries in al-kharj road Riyadh. The industrial permission was cleared in 19 of Jan. 1996 Italian company was selected to build the factory, they took around one year to build the factory on 250. 000 square meters, therefore the factory is considered as an industrial edifice in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The trial production was held For three months after that the production out floAL-Watani Gypsumd in the market with tow products, Yamama gypsum 33. 33kg and Riyadh gypsum40kg. Our product was an still one of the top gypsum products in the region because the international specifications we are followed in the production procedures also the softness, pureness, the white color and the production exports that are improving the product continuously. The shortage in the product in the local market is vanished, not only that but we export to some countries in the Gulf region. The factory got an annex specialized for production the whole kinds of adhesive (ground, walls, swimming pools, etc) these products are high quality products. Al-Watani gypsum factory will be in work after 2 months
