- About Us : In the spring of 2001 saskia R zeeb-hilchey established her business, algonquin honey. The first year she started with 50 bee colonies and harvested 3,000 pound of pure organic muskoka honey. Saskia had the opportunity with fed-nor in november 2003 to display and sell various honey products at the canadian royal winter fair in Toronto. As of spring 2004, she became involved in providing pollinating services to johnston cranberry farm and the wahta-mohawk, indian reserve. This year she became muskoka's largest honey producer with over 300 bee colonies. A master chef, she has also created a line of saladdressings made with organic honey and additives. She also recieved in september of 2004 two first prices winning awards for her honey for quality and taste.
