American Glass Works Stained Glass Studio specialize in custom designed art glass windows to your specifications. Because we understand stained glass as art, we take pride in restoring older and historic pieces to their former beauty as well. Custom designed beveled glass windows and doorways, privacy glass, and stained glass lamps are our areas of expertise,too. We have restored several cathedral windows as sub-contracted work. In 2003, we were commissioned to design, build, and install stained glass windows for an addition to an Andrew Carnegie Library, as well as, build new stained glass art windows for an old area of the building. Due to the historical significance of this building, extensive research was done to comply with historical design, building techniques, and glass colors that were used prior to 1915. The Library Board is thrilled with the end results. Our studio also sells colored sheet glass to studios and distributors.
