• About Us : Mehmet Arif BAYRAM was the founder of Bayteks Tekstil, he was born in GAZIANTEP on 05. 01. 1942. He completed his primary and high school education in GAZIANTEP and then registered to the University of Istanbul for Forestry and Engineering, he graduated in 1966. After completing his military, he worked as a state employee until 1972 when he resigned from his position. He began to produce carpets and buy carpets from other producers, these carpets were sold in GAZIANTEP and Istanbul until 1979. Between 1980-1992 he sold acrylic yarn and he was the most knowledgeable merchant in GAZIATEP regarding this subject. In 1992 he founded BAYTEKS COTTON PRODUCTS SANAYI ve TiCARET A. S. and the company began to produce BCF YARN (Capacity: 160 tonne / month) in GAZIANTEP in 1997. After the company started the production capacity increased to: 160tonne / monthinl999 280 tonne / month in 2003 320 tonne / month in 2004 and now our production capacity for yarn Is 920 tonne / month, Now, Bayteks have; > 4 Neumag yarn machine. > 9 Volkmann twisting machine > 3 Rieter twisting machine (cable) > 2 Superba heat-setmachine (freze) > 3 Pover heat-set machine We make systematic quality control tests to all of our products, these tests are carried out in our laboratory to ensure the best quality for all our clients. Our company made an investment into the nonwoven sector, this sector is growing rapidly, operations started at the end of 2002. In September 2003, we completed out investment for first line, then in June 2006 we completed a further investment in our second line. We have production from twin beam Spunbond nonwoven fabric lines that gives us a capacity of 800 tonnes / month. Line one is 3, 20 and the new line two has a 2, 5 mt width. Again make systematic quality control tests to all of our products, these tests are carried out in our laboratory to ED ANA standards to ensure the best quality for all our clients. We have 200 employees, 20 are working in management positions, this is due to Bayteks achieving new record levels in June 2006, The paid-in capital of our company j is 15, 000, 000-YTL OR 10, 000, 000-USD. In 2005 our company made total revenues 6 / 45, 000, 000-YTL or 33, 500, 000-USD, with export revenues of 6, 000, 000-YTL or 4, 500, 000-USD. Arif BAYRAM was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2000 and began medical therapy. His sons Hasan Gurkan and Kutan took over the authorities of Bayteks. On 01. 12. 202 M. Arif BAYRAM died as a result of lung cancer. Hasan GURKAN BAYRAM was born in GAZIANTEP in 1972. He is married and has two children. He majored in foreign trade faculty of Anadolu University. In 1996 he worked in a number of positions with-in the company, and now he's responsible for all financial and administrative matters. Kutan BAYRAM was born in GAZIANTEP in 1973. He is married and has two children. He majored in econometrics at faculty of Economics and Administrative Science in Gazi University. He's responsible for matters relating to business administration and marketing.
