Mustehkam Cement is a 0. 63 million tonnes per annum plant and is located in close proximity to Bestway (Holdings) Limited first plant in Hattar, NWFP, Pakistan. In June 2006, our new plant at Chakwal commenced commercial operation. The construction and commissioning of the plant was performed within 18 months, which is an industry record in Pakistan. In May 2006 the Group announced plans for the establishment of a second 1. 8 million tonnes per annum capacity plant adjacent to its existing operations in Chakwal at a cost of US $150. 0 million. This will be the third greenfield cement project for Bestway. Chakwal II would be identical to the existing Line-1.
