- About Us : Bira D.D. is a European manufacturer and one of the biggest manufacturing companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in the region. It is located in Bihac, north-BIRA D.d.stern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina and it is easily accessible by road and railway. Adriatic seaport Rijeka allows world wide connection with our suppliers as well as our customers. Factory was founded in 1982 as an integral part of Gorenje group for production of refrigerators and freezers for household use. BIRA is projected for production of 600.000 units per year. We sell our products under our own brand BIRA which is widely recognized brand in south-eastern Europe but our main orientation is OEM production. Our portfolio contains a lot of different customers from small companies to very big ones. All our appliances have certificates such as: RoHS, CE, LVD CB, EMC certificate of conformity, NON-IONIZING radiation certificate. Our current range is made of products 540mm width and from 850mm to 1800mm height. We offer two different door designs and different interior dressings. BIRA's range will be widened in the middle of 2010 because we will add INOX look appliances and appliances with A+ energy class for all our models. For some models we will implement A++ energy efficiency. Plan for 2011 is to go even further and offer appliances in 600mm width static and non-frost.
