• About Us : The history of the Tver brewing began that in 1887 the Austrian citizen Emil Slatinsky has based on coast Tvertsy the established first in city BreBrau Servicery, received the name " the Tver Bavaria ". Founded on Soviet times in1976, Tverskoi Local Brewery (Afanasy-pivo today) is the leader in the production, distribution, and sale of beer in Tver Region - in the year ending 31 December 2006 it held a 63% share of the beer and non-alcoholic market in Tver Region.Brewery Plant in Tver is an installed capacity of 10 million decaliters of beer per year.In Afanasy (Original) we use only high quality ingredients to make our products.The quality of all the malt - whether imported or Russian - is verified by rigorous tests.Our water comes from deep wells and undergoes electro dialysis and ozonization.Hops are imported from countries with a suitable climate for their cultivation.Rice properties complement the malt and help give brilliance and colloidal stability to the beer.Our yeast produces alcohol and and carbon dioxide and plays an important role in much of beer's characteristic flavor.At present it has many brands, among them Afanasy, NikitiN, Gold Premium , SIXX as well as other original regional brews. It exports own brands to 5 countries Latvia, Estonia, UK, Belarus, Armenia and is the importer in Russian Federation of the beers and beverages produced by the German, Chech local breweries.
