Our company is co-owned and run by Bert Ruizendaal. His experience in the aviation industry spans more than a decade bringing a sound understanding of most aspects of the airline industry, especially relating to international cargo distribution and management. He brings to the company in-depth working knowledge of flight operations; warehousing and staff management; third party international airline cargo operational management (including special consignments such as CITES animals, special DG, etc.); station mechanization; training and needs assessment skills to meet specific requirements throughout Africa; station management skills; flight planning and liaison abilities (also for Foreign Operator Permits and ad-hoc charters.) Mr Ruizendaal was responsible for setting up a South Africa Call Centre to centralize various functions and also managed Aviation Security for a large international airline company. He authored and maintained Local Procedures Manuals (LPM) for stations as per JAR-Ops requirements. During his previous employ, Mr Ruizendaal was also instrumental in the start-up of a GHA for both national and international cargo operations; perishable logistics solutions provision; tailor-made solutions for the automotive industry for MIDP traffic flows; the implementation of a freighter program; assisting in various acquisitions, mergers and joint ventures; as well as consultation with regards to the above mentioned projects to various airlines. The company can also assist in the provision of commodities trading services and sourcing, as well as logistical service solutions such as road feeder services (both regional and domestic).
