- About Us : Bushehr Chemical Industries Co. take great pleasure to hereby submit information regarding our backgrounds, products, activities and potentials: Bushehr chemical industries company (BCIC) is established in 1981 in iranian bushehr port with purpose of producing various types of industrial and protective coatings and resins with kahar as its brand name. BCIC has always been a pioneer in its field of activity, due to its advantage of being located nearby main oil and gas fields such as south pars(assaluyeh which is the most extensive oil and gas project of the world), kangan, khark, bahregan... And also due to its longing to maintain superiority in market. BCIC is the manufacturer of different types of unsaturated polyester resins, alkyd resins, gelcoats and various types of marine/industrial coatings. Complete line of products manufactured by BCIC are meeting standards set by ASTM, SSPC, NACE. 1, unsaturated polyester resins: More than 50 different types of unsaturated polyester resins, used for(production of): Composite parts(fiberglass)- tanks- pipes- putties-wood varnishes-artificial stones- buttons and car parts for applications such as: SMC/BMC - RTM - pultrusion - filament winding, hand lay-up and spray-up processes. 2, gelcoats: BCIC polyester gelcoats are used in composite and fiberglass industries, and are based on isophthalic and ISO/npg for both brush and spray application. 3, alkyd resins: Basically used by paint factories, are produced in different types such as: Long/medium/short oil alkyd resins, modified alkyd resins, and epoxy ester resins. 4, protective coatings -marine coatings: The above mentioned products are commonly used in different industries specially the ones which are situated either in critical climate and/or in worst chemical atmosphere. BCIC coatings are: Epoxy(solventbase&solvent free), epoxy phenolic, chlorinated rubber, vinyl, acrylic, silicon. Ethyl silicate, polyurethane(solventbase&solvent free), polyester, stoving and heat resistant enamels, fast air drying alkyd paints and tens of other protective coating systems. Our surface coating production plants not only produce our industrial paints, but also benefit two new technologies(one of which is patented and is new even to the world), enabling production of the following new products: -non-toxic antifouling coatings under the license of seal coat int'l, totally new in the world, ready to be applied and used in adverse industries especially marine industries. - Solvent free polyurethane coatings under the license of kemica-france for internal and external coatings of iron or non-iron buried/non buried pipes used in all industries especially oil, gas and nuclear power plant industries.
