- About Us : Business Computer Trade B.V. history in a few quick words: Business Computer Trade B.V. (B.T.C.) initially started under the name of "PcShop Amsterdam" on 14-03-1997 with a computer and electronics store in the center of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. When, in October 1998, a storage facility behind the shop became available for rent, we decided to take this opportunity and we rented the storage facility. With this new "warehouse", we were able to store a significant larger product stock then we used to. Since we didn't need all the space for storing products for the shop, we decided to start in- and exporting computer parts. So, we started trading with our business partners (mainly) in Indonesia, Australia and the U.S.. The orders, quantities and amounts concerned kept on rising, as well as the frequency of the orders. Keeping on trading and running the store became very time consuming. So, when in June 1999 "Megapool" (a large, national company with electronics stores) made us an great offer to sell the store, we couldn't refuse. We only sold the store and kept the "trading" part in our own hands. With the revenues of the sale of the store, we purchased a larger warehouse just outside Amsterdam and invested in a wider range of products (not only computer parts but also monitors, notebooks etc.). Since then we have been focusing on the international "wholesale" trade in consumer electronics, mainly to south-East Asia, Northern Europe and the U.S.. The product range has been expanding continuesly ever since and we can now offer you most of the products that are "hot" at this moment, at very competitive prices. Please note that we only deal with "Consumer Electronics", so no corporate systems like servers, networks solutions or large back-up systems. If you are looking for corporate products, please let us know and we can provide you with the addresses of some reliable business partners who have specialized in corporate products. Please note that, due to the enormous number of fraudsters, as of 01-05-2004, we do not export to African countries anymore (only if the full transaction amount and all costs are paid up front by TT). For all transactions, we prefer payment by TT/Wire transfer. We'll usually request a partial payment up front for first time transactions, the rest has to be paid (if satisfied with the products of course) within 7 days after receipt. Business partners who have demonstrated their reliability will be able to purchase on an "open account" basis.
