Besides functional health foods, CAL produces minced spices, mango papads or rolls, tamarind paste, tamarind with seed or without seed slabs, tamarind candy, and jaggery from sugar cane. By the year 2,000, the Royal Customs Department awarded CAL Intertrade Co., Ltd the highly honoured Customs Gold Card Privileges No.035 . The contexts of Customs Gold Card required a minimum of three consecutive years of exports using Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). The 29 th International Award For Commercial Prestige was bestowed to CAL Intertrade in 1998 by the selection committee of the International Award for Commercial Prestige in collaboration with the Trade Leaders' Club and the journal Mercado Mundial (World Market) in Spain .
