• About Us : CAST PROFILES started its operations in the year 1994 to manufacture steel and alloy steel castings for the Engineering Industry and more specifically for the Mining, Quarrying and Crushing Industry. It had an initial capacity to manufacture 450 MT / year. It had Medium Frequency Induction Melting Furnace of 250KW / 300kg + 500kg crucibles. Subsequently over the years it has gone through the process of expansion. Presently the unit has two Induction Melting Furnaces of 300KW / 500kg + 750kg and 350KW / 750kg + 1000kg. Now the unit has a total capacity of 3000 MT / year with capability for a single piece casting of 1500kg. The heat treatment furnace is a 6 MT / batch grooved hearth furnace. The furnace is oil fired having 6 burners with an effective size of 2. 5m x 1. 8m x 1. 2 meter height with water quenching arrangement which can do the quenching operation within a maximum time of 40 seconds. The operation of the furnace is monitored by six point temperature recorder. At elevated temperatures dual monitoring is done with optical pyrometer as Cast Profiles Pvt. Ltd.ll. The unit is an ISO 9000 certified company. The unit has a totally equipped testing laboratory for chemical and physical tests.
