- About Us : CAMEL GRINDING WHEELS, established in 1956, is a manufacturer of a large range of abrasive products. CGW grinding wheels are to be found worldwide, in the the U.S., S. America, Canada and Europe. In the U.S. CGW- Camel Grinding Wheels subsidiary, CGW-USA, maintains a 100, 000 sq.ft. warehouse and manufacturing facility from where we ship our products throughout North America. CGW produces a large range of vitrified (ceramic bond) and resinoid (organic bond) wheels for use in the metal, construction, aerospace and various other industries. CGW supplies it's wide range of products from small machine tool shops to large and sophisticated industry. Grinding wheels are used in all branches of industry, such as construction work and in repair shops. No productive society can manage without them. Modern industry has introduced special new metallic and non-metallic materials which have made it necessary to find new solutions for technological grinding problems unknown in the past. Thanks to German know-how and the achievements of our own research division we have been able to keep up with the new technological requirements and so produce high quality grinding wheels, and develop them to the highest standards for special applications. Today CGW, through it's efficient production systems, is able to offer a wide range of high quality abrasive products. Among our standard resin and vitrified products are wheels for the following grinding applications: * surface grinding * centerless grinding * cylindrical grinding * off-hand tool grinding * cutting off ( reinforced & non-reinforced) * creep feed grinding * mounted wheels & points Flap discs are also part of our large range. CGW manufacturing philosophy is based on three systems: 1. Sales Orders We ensure fast errorless service on orders, avoiding mistakes on delivery dates and handling order changes easily and quickly. 2. Production Planning & Scheduling CGW has developed a system that enables us to plan production on a quick turnover basis, obtain fast action on schedule changes and make way for rush orders. All this is due to the strong correlation between the production and sales departments. 3.
