Because of its extreme thermostability, it has a wide range of applications in converting starch into sugar, as well as use in any other substance using a fermentation process -- such as fuel ethanol, amino acids, antibiotics, textile printing and paper manufacturing. White Tiger glucoamylase was derived from a select strain of Aspergillus Niger and was refined through submerged fermentation. The enzyme activity ranges from 100,000u/ml (g) to 150,000 u/ml (g). The activity can be customized. The higher the activity and purer the enzyme, the smaller amount is needed. The enzyme can be used in converting starch into sugar and in any industries using starch as the substrate and fermentation process, such as fuel ethanol, amino acids, antibiotics, and feed manufacturing industry.
