In 1982 the direction of the company was changed and it was re-established as COMAL srl, in Milan, Italy; a quality metal forming equipment manufacturer by Primo's son, Paolo Rigamonti. In 2007, the company decided to expand its operation globally and thus a new phase of growth is under way. Comal Italia specializes in designing and manufacturing metal fabricating equipment.
