Made from a resilient composite matrix, the THERMOMASS fiber composite connector possesses remarkable strength and durability. These connectors are vastly superior to steel rods in sandwich wall panels. They are non-corrosive and possess low thermal conductivity eliminating "thermal short circuits". The proprietary extrusion process and polystyrene resin used to produce insulation creates a closed cell component that contains no gaps or voids. Because of this, the rigid board insulation resists all forms of weathering and water penetration, including water vapor transmission.
