Established 6 decades ago, United Ink has carved a niche for itself as the manufacturer of high quality printing inks. Synthetic resins and printing ink vehicles form key components in the manufacture of high quality printing inks. Keeping this factor in mind it was decided to establish a full fledged independent synthetic resin manufacturing activity which gave birth to D.S.V. Chemicals in 1976. Thus began a small scale operation in Unit No. 1 in Taloja. From a humble beginning as resin producers for captive consumption DSV has blossomed into manufacturer of wide range of synthetic resins catering not only to the captive requirements of printing inks end use, but to a much wider fields, ie. all types of printing inks, paints, coatings and adhesives under the able guidance and leadership of Mr. D. M. Sathaye.
