• About Us : Design-EX was founded in 2004. Design-EX specialized supplier of light and electrical component from Thai company under promotion of the Board of Investment, a division of Ministry of Finance-Thailand, with the registered capital of 10, 000, 000 Bath. The number of staff is 105 people. From the start, The company's prime objective is to supplied hight quality and best design lighting fixtures from suppliers to domestic market. Today we has the range of quality products for both indoor and outdoor luminaires. Every electrical component has been attentively selected from the world-leading manufacturers such as Vossloh Schwabe, AAG Stucchi, Philips, Helvar, Tridonic, Electronicon, VLM, etc. to ensure both quality and safety. Light fixtures are designed and built on the basis of the international regulation IEC 60598-1. The majority of electrical components like lamp holder, terminal block, internal wire, ballast and capacitor bare corresponding test marks such as VDE, IMQ, KEMA and ENEC. Most of outdoor light fittings have been tested at UL-Demko Laboratory in Denmark and the company always keeps a proper internal control to ensure that the standard is in place. Our products are normally made with aluminium, especially in die casting and extruding. And in order to achieve optimum corrosion resistance property, the aluminium components contain very less copper and they have been chromatized before coated with UV-stablized polyester powder and baked at 210 degree. That is why our fittings can last longer in the extreme environment. The material that use for the diffuser parts are mostly supplied by Bayer, Germany. Our products use both Polycarbonate and PMMA materials in a specific light fitting depending on the way it is used. The material is compounded with UV-Stablized chemical to ensure hight-heat standing property and longer useful life. Where necessary, we also use the tempered glass in the fitting to confirm that they are free of possible danger.
