Pods with this shape are usually referred to as ovalies. These are a light tan with some dark green and purples in the mix and were just harvested weeks ago. These are gorgeous pods in excellent condition. They have strong walls and all seeds are intact. All pods listed in any Sell offer by Direct Company are organically grown or rather grown without pesticides. They have not been treated with any chemicals. These come 25 to a sleeved bunch with 25 sleeved bunches per carton. Each carton contains 625 (and occasionally a few more) medium sized stemmed poppy pods. The stems are around 12 to 14" in length. Price per case is $300. Prefer to use USPS Priority mail which tends to be $9 to $15 depending on zone for 2 to 3 day delivery. Papaver Somniferum Poppy Pods (mixedsize/variety sm quantity orders) Have wide range of poppy pods available for smaller quantity purchases. With or without stems. With or without seeds (vented crowned are without seeds but none of the pods have been drilled for seeds). Have vast array of size and color choice ranging from the deepest purples, greens, tans and goldens as well as tiny up to tennis ball sized. All are organically grown, all papaver s. variety. Attached photo is just one size and type of the selection available. Also ovalies, vented crowned, x-large, jumbo, small fresh cut, mid-sized and all variations in between. There is no minimum because all other sizes and types other than the cartons of Medium Ovalies and Jumbo Arizonas listed in other sell offers by Direct Company only are available in smaller qiantities. New crops arrive several times per year so some type of pod is always available. At present - all types and all harvests are in stock. Spring harvest is still in excellent condition with dazzling colors with plenty of cases available. Late summer harvest recently arrived and arriving this week is the Fall harvest with also plenty of cases available for sale. The next harvest to arrive 1st week of May 2008 from small farm in Arizona where Direct Company purchases entire Spring crop for resale.
