Our manufacturing plant has the state-of-the-art process equipment and machinery, which are scientifically planned and maintain hygienic environment all over the plant area Disha Foods has an installed capacity of 24, 000 MT per annum of biscuits & 100% capacity as on date. The projected production for year ending March 2010 is 36, 000 MT of saleable biscuits. The anticipated annual growth of biscuit industry in the domestic and international market is currently 15% and the focus of our company to achieve the demands of the market. We are proud to announce that our company is ISO certified and has already initiated activities for introducing HACCP, which is likely to be finalized by December 2007. Equipment & Machinery: Disha Foods Pvt. Ltd employs latest technology with modern equipment. The plant is totally computer controlled, enabling the quality to be consistently uniform conforming to the standards. The process incorporates total automatic for maintaining homogeneity. Production Capacity per shift: 78 tonnes. Mixing: 5 Nos. Of Automatic Dough mixing machines of high speed. Each machine is mixing 300kgs per batch with a schedule of six minutes. Cutting and Moulding: 48 Inc. Largest size with a capacity of 26 tonnes per shift with natural two tier cooling conveyor. Ovens: 2 Numbers of Electronic computer controlled, 5 and 7 chamber diesel fired indirect baking oven with a length of 210 FT and 250FT and width of 1220mm. Oven is equipped with chamber wise Top and Bottom temperature controlling independently. The oven is one of its kind for fine and uniform baking of products. Creaming: 5 Nos of Automatic Planetary Cream Mixing machine with a capacity of 60kg per batch. Sandwiching Machine: 5 Nos. Of Automatic, 600 sandwiches per minute capacity, with A / c cooling tunnel Packing: 35 Nos Automatic packing machines to pack Pre-pack, Tray pack and Bare biscuits in different dimensions with different stack lengths Quality: Advanced scientific laboratory, to test quality of ingredients, packing materials and finished products, as per the International Standards. Our quality control team ensures a constant monitoring at every stage from procurement of ingredients to the production and packing till the fourth P perfection. So it is more than just mixing, moulding and packing. Our R and D puts continuous efforts for improvement of products for setting standards. Infrastructure: The company is equipped with the latest and sophisticated imported and indigenous machinery that minimize human handling, thus ensures standards at every stage of production and packaging. Furthermore, the R and D Lab, warehousing and storing facility meet the international standards.
