This dynamic duo developed the world of Nana Star, comprised of a picture book series and lovable, huggable character plushies, based on magical characters created by their grandmother. The storie gently inspire character by modeling such timeless virtures as compassions, kindness, and generosity for the littlest listeners. Recently, in collaboration with internationally esteemed child development expert, Dr. Toy, ee-that's double e-taped a segment on Intentional Parenting for PBS's National Education Report, which began airing in Spring 2009. Elizabeth and Elena raise their families, run their business, crack each other up, and endeavor to change the world in Northern Virginia. How EE PUBLISHING & PRODUCTIONS LLC Changing the World Consistent with ee's mission to give and belief in compassionate corporate citizenship, a portion of all Nana Star proceeds goes to The National Star Foundation, helping terminally ill children and under-resourced inner-city schools. ee is a proud corporate sponsor of the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation; the company donated hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of books and toys to the charity in 2006 and 2007. In 2006, ee also provided thousands of picture books to Gulf Coast children through a donation to First Book. This Spring, in honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month, ee gifted books to the Children's Network of Southwest Florida. In addition to charitable organizations and social action campaigns, the laugh-friendly company routinely gives books and toys to schools, librairies, and children's hospitals around the country. We've never met a child whom we could not give a book or toy to. This is how we are changing the world.
