Had its beginnings in the managing and marketing of domestic and international music artists for the major recording labels (Sony, Universal, BMG Distribution, Warner/Elektra/Atlantic/Nonesuch, EMI, etc. ). Emerson And Roberts, INC. Listen Up developed one of the first full-fledged systems to ensure for the artists and labels that the sales of artists' recordings at live music events were reported to SoundScan for Billboard charting purposes. Since those days, the company's founder has passed most of these responsibilities on to others and become much more involved in two of the things he enjoys most: Photography and live music performance. We now provide a mix of professional photography services (such as journalistic wedding photography) and sales of professional-quality photography equipment. But WAIT! There's more... We ALSO provide music coordination services and performance with traditional string quartet, all-'cello quartet, and electric 'cello quartet. We provide a great package deal for those who use both our photographic and music services. So there you have it: Bach, Beatles, Mozart, Radiohead, and a very nice wedding album, to boot. What sounds like an odd combination has actually created a very nice balance, with our festive, occasionally (and appropriately) humorous music charging the atmosphere in such a way that our photographers are able to capture much more life in our photos than what you see on the "average" special occasion. And as our public visibility has increased, so have our professional photographic equipment sales. We are a versatile team that has earned high regard through word-of-mouth advertising, and we have established an excellent reputation with a high level of trust from our peers, colleagues, and the surrounding community. Hopefully very soon, as a result of our love for 'cellos, we might begin distribution of the world's best carbon fiber 'cellos and graphite bows!
