In the early 90's, the company developed its own Biomass Boiler design initially to fire coconut shell which was abundant in the country. Later on its biomass boiler was modified to be able to burn rice hull which was also abundant in the country. Enertech developed the entire boiler plant to include fuel handling which enabled it to offer fully automated biomass boiler plants.
