- About Us : The company was started in 1983 in NY, at the time it only did business with the Department of Defense, which continues to be the core of Financial Assets & Aqc. operations; after a while, with surplus resources at hand, we branched into foreign trade, being amongst the first to establish trade lines with Mainland China, who remains one of our biggest partners today, due to our history with them. Unknown to most of the general public, the majority of brand name electronics, and timepieces, regardless of their original nationalities, are being manufactured in part or in totality in Mainland China today. Quality has not suffered, as China continues to surge ahead in leaps and bounds in this regard, mainly thanks to the enormous investment that they have made in the areas of technology and to the high level of education of their employees. As a result, what started as a stop-gap measure on our part, has turned into our second main area of activity. We are currently importing and representing many of the country's manufacturers, in the areas of electronics (on it's many iterations) , and wood products, an area where, with the help of American companies, the quality of their products has improved to the point where they can favorably compare with any other producing country in the world, and at still more competitive prices.
