We have a very wide clientele in Europe, Far East, Middle East and African Regions. We have been trading with multinational companies and at present we have a co-packing arrangement with Unilever Sri Lanka Ltd. Which is part and parcel of Lipton and Brooke Bonds. We pack Lipton tea for the Ceylon market at our factory site using fully automatic machines. Our main objective is to ensure quality of the packed product. In order to effectively maintain quality assurance standards we have implemented several procedures such as HACCP plans, etc. We also pack tea for many trading houses in Colombo. Apart from tea many other commodities such as detergent, washing powder, filling of shampoo is been packed or filled using from fill machines. We have also packing operation in Egypt exclusively for the Egyptian market using Kenyan, Srilankan and other origin teas. The factory is based in North of Egypt under the name and style Arabic Development Company. We also have buying houses in the Middle East and Russia. We have had a sizable share of business with a leading food stuff importer in Saudi Arabia. Gulf we have traded with the largest supermarket dealers. At present we have plans to setup a packing factory in Moscow. This joint co-packing operation will certainly assist us to feed markets which are in close proximity to Soviet Union.
