- About Us : Furr Ball & Jude was registered in June 2006. Furr Ball & Jude vision is to create an exciting brand of ladies handbags that offers a strong design edge and quality construction at a price most women can afford. We are currently looking for manufacturers who can deliver excellent stitch work, have exacting quality control procedures, offer prompt customer service as well as competitive prices for premium leather, hardware etc. Our inaugural collection consists of 9 bag styles - 7 leather bags & 2 polyester satin totes. As we are starting out, we want to produce in small quantities of not more than 50 pieces in 1 colour combination. Typically, we have 2 colour combinations for each style. We hope to grow the quantities with successive re-orders following positive sales feedback, & are therefore looking for a manufacturing partner who sees the long-term potential of this deal & are interested in forging a strong working relationship even with this small starting order. Our top choices for leathers are cowhide (back section for tautness & is less grainy), calfskin & nappa cowhide, treated for dirt & water resistance. For hardware, we are looking for high quality rust-proof goldtone metal & antique brass. We will be very happy to start discussions with any manufacturer who can fulfill these requirements.
