It has made rapid progress in the domestic market in south India with its premium quality shirts branded as DENNIS MORTON. Recently the company has made foray into export markets with its innovative products particularly Ladies & Kids Garments in Countries like Germany, U. S. A, England and Singapore. The Company is poised for big expansion and plan to increase its production capacity from its present 600 pieces per day to 1600 pieces introducing value added items. The Company has acquired internationally acclaimed ISO 9001: 2000 quality management system. It has also underG'Sons Apparelsnt successfully the audit system of BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) an International body to monitor the export capabilities of exporting companies all over the world. Scope and Market Potentials-The economic growth has increased the purchasing power of the people which has ushered in the increased demand for ready made garments. Due to lifting of the Quota system for textiles, under WTO agreement the tremendous opportunities exist for third world countries like India with abundant man power to export garments and home textiles to overseas markets particularly to U. S. A, Germany and other European countries. 3. Location of the company-The company is located at Kuttikakam Post Edakkad Kannur Dist, Kerala. 4. Manufacturing process-The fabric is purchased from leading textile mills from Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Varanasi. The fabric is examined and cut according to required sizes using patterns and collars, cuffs and plackets are fused. The parts required for embroidery are embrodied and parts are stitched separately and assembled, examined for defects and ironed. The products are packed with meticulous care giving aesthetic appearance and despatched. 5. Production-The Company production rate per day is 600 pieces of shirts and could increase substantially with future expansion. 6.
