• About Us : Ghanem Development & Trading pleased to introduce our selves as Ghanem Development & Trading SARL (GDT) based in Lebanon. GDT is involved in representing Reputed International Companies as well as importing and distributing plastic raw material for the plastic industry to several countries mainly Lebanon, Syria, Cyprus, Jordan, Nigeria, Ghana and North Africa. Our range of products includes Low density Polyethylene, High Density Polyethylene, LLDPE, PP, PS, PVC Resin, PVC Compounds, PVC Additives, PET Resin and Masterbatches. We are the exclusive agent of Qatar Petrochemical Co. (QAPCO) from Qatar. We represent QAPCO for the sales of Low Density Polyethylene LDPE in Lebanon since 1997. GDT is also the marketing agent of QAPCO to market the HDPE and MDPE from Qatar Chemical Co- QChem from Qatar since February 2003. GDT is the exclusive agent of Power Add for PVC Additives from India to Lebanon, Cyprus and Jordan. GDT is the exclusive agent of Pak Petrochemicals Industries (PVT) Ltd. For polystyrene selling in Lebanon, Jordan, & Iraq. GDT is also the exclusive agent for Sterling Farm Research & Services Cochin, Kerla from India for the sales of NEOPEAT and other specialty agro-products in Lebanon and Cyprus. Moreover, Iraq and Syria have been added to the list countries where GDT will be the exclusive agent and distributor of Sterling Farm Research and Services. We are also exclusive agent and distributor of STOCKOSORB brand from Degussa Germany. STOCKOSORB is a silica gel which absorbs water and acts as water and nutrient reservoir for the plant roots. GDT also serves the paint industry by supplying Sodium Aluminum Silicate as well as Dreier (Calcium, Lead, Cobalt... ) from IQE Spain. PVA, Alkyd Resin, Styrene Acrylic, are also on the list of products to be added to the portfolio of traded products. GDT have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Power Add India to establish a joint company in Egypt and produce the PVC Additives under the name of Power Add- Egypt. GDT has diversified its activities to cover other fields in the industry where we also represent National Plastic (NPIC) from Qatar for the sales of Polypropylene Woven Bags and NPPC for Paper Bags from Saudi Arabia to Lebanon, Syria, Cyprus, and Iraq. GDT also buys its requirement of PP Woven Bags from Reliance India for particular customers in the above mentioned countries. GDT has also extended its scope of packaging items to include major food and beverage packaging articles mainly cartons for different types of Industries. Follows is a list of companies where GDT currently has Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Trade representation or exclusive agreement with fifteen (15) international companies.
