- About Us : Gunsan, established in 1974 for the marketing of forged steel products entered the industrial sector in 1984 by taking over the production plant belonging to one of the most solidly based leaf and coil spring manufacturer. In 1986, gunsan became a fully integrated spring production plant with the addition of bar grinding and shaping plant. Thanks to its high capacity, this shaping and grinding plant not only produces bars required by gunsan itself but also by other firms. The high quality steel required for production is ordered accordin to gunsan specs conforming to international norms. Gunsan Automobile Spare Parts Inc. primary customer industries include vehicle OEM, vehicle spare parts and railroads. We are supplying nearly full spectrum of coil springs and stabilizer bars used in Renault, Fiat, Ford and Hyundai branded vehicles heavy coilsprings of French, german, japanese and middle eastern railroads origin for passanger-wagon applications complying with uic 822 is also being supplied by gunsan. In case of samples or technical data are available, we can manifacture nearly every kind of coil springs and stabilizer bars on demand. En ISO 9001: 2000 quality management system certificate is awarded to gunsan by tuv and our qas system is continuously audited by different car manufacturers. Our production plant is located at gebze which is about 50 kilometers away from Istanbul. Total plant area is approximately 20. 000 square meters and 7. 000 square meters area is allocated for production activities. We already export our coil springs to Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and uk mainly for car spares (Citroen, Peugeot, Land Rover, mercedes etc) , machine-construction companies and railroad passanger cars.
