TechMet has also worked very closely with GESAC (Golden Egret Special Alloy Company), a division of Xiamen Tungsten Company, a private corporation and the largest producer of tungsten powder in China, to develop a $75 million "state of the art", ISO certified cemented carbide production facility in China; which is set apart from the various state owned carbide producers. TechMet has exclusive rights to market GESAC products in North America.
