ICBP is 15 minutes from Singapore and PTP is the regional hub for Maersk Liner and Evergreen. ICBP is the first company to produce degradable plastic for injection molding in Malaysia, securing a Pioneer Status from the Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (MIDA) in 16th November 2007. ICBP has been licensed to manufacture biodegradable plastic resins by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) in 2007. ICBP is producing ICBP Bio Resins which are Certified OK Biobased by Vincotte, Belgium, which conforms to American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM 6866). Currently Indochine Bio Plastiques (ICBP) Sdn Bhd annual manufacturing capacity is at 24, 000 tons.
