All steps are made of a polypropylene plastic cover with a reinforced bar inside. The plastic cover is used to assure our customers that there will be NO corrosion of the concrete manhole or reinforced bar. Our steps are designed with safety in mind from installation to use on-site. The face side of our steps is flat and textured for easier installation, and we have molded-in strike indicators for proper installation. The material used is ideal for outdoor conditions and climate changes, which is necessary for the Precast Concrete Industry and on-site for the Construction Industry. IMPspecialty's plastic Lift Inserts provide our customers with a resourceful method for transporting their manholes. Our plastic Lift Inserts are made of high impact ABS plastic OR high impact polystyrene plastic at our customer's request, which allows for maximum force without breakage. All our Lift Inserts meet ASTM C-890 Standards. Designed for a load rate of 3, 500 lbs. All Lift Inserts are sonic welded into one piece for a guaranteed water-tight seal.
