- About Us : Izhevsk Gearbox Plant was founded in 1898 as an iron foundry for gray and malleable cast iron melting for the Izhevsk Reduktor plantapon production needs. The first task of Izhevsk Plant was to provide the country with cylindrical gearboxes (75% of the cylindrical gearboxes had been prodeced there). But time doesn't stand still and constant changes of the economic conditions have led to the necessity to master new progressive technologies. Consequently in 1991 the Plant began to manufacture the oil production equipment. Izhevsk Reduktor Plant maintains it's leadership on the industrial market thanks to the good foreign political administration, flexible conditions of cooperation with clients and powerful industrial doundation. Nowadays the enterprice is known as one of the largest manufacturing companies of beam pumping units, control stations for these units and special gearboxes for the beam pumping units.
