• About Us : IZOCAM was established in 1965 to meet the demand of the Turkish market and was registered as a public company in 1967 to manufacture glass wool. The original factory was built in Gebze and production commenced. In 1986, the second glass wool plant was erected in Tarsus with 10. 000 tons annual production capacity which was doubled six years later. In 1993, as a result of the capacity upgrade in Tarsus plant, the glass wool plant in Gebze was switched to rock wool production with 10. 000 tons annual capacity. In 1997, the capacity was increased to 15. 000 tons / year. IZOCAM upgraded Tarsus glass wool plant capacity to 30. 000 tons / year in 2002. As in 2007, the capacity in glass wool plant will be upgraded to 55. 000 tons / year and in rock wool plant, the capacity will be upgraded to 60. 000 tons / year. While IZOCAM glass wool products are produced by ISOVER Saint-Gobain, France license, Tel process, rock wool products G + H AG, Germany license, Sillan process. In 1995, extruded polystyrene (Foam board) sheets production was started in Gebze with 90. 000 cubic meters annual capacity. The plant utilizes OIZOCAM ISOLATION PRODUCTS MARKETINGns Corning (USA) , HYDROVAC licence with the capacity of 300. 000 cubic meters / year. The production of elastodynamics rubber (flexible) insulation materials with the capacity of 500 tons / year started in Eskisehir, in 2000 under the license of ARMACELL GmbH. Today, the capacity of the plant is 1. 900 tons / year. The annual capacity of polyethylene foam which is produced as "IZOCAM Perplex" in Eskisehir IZOCAM plant at the beginning of 2006, is 700 tons / year. Operating in waterproofing market, IZOCAM supplies YZOSU products which are bituminous membrane waterproof covers. TEKIZ which was established in 1966 and merged with IZOCAM in 2005, produces mineral wool, polyurethane insulated panels, corrugated sheets, and cold storage panels in any required amount, color and dye. IZOCAM products are exported to Middle East, Far East, Europe, Africa, C. I. S. totally to 32 different countries in the world since 1967. This reflects the high quality of IZOCAM products which comply with international and all national standards. IZOCAM is committed to improving quality of life by promoting the use of insulation materials to conserve energy and protect individuals and their valuables from controllable hazards. IZOCAM holds the ISO 9001 quality certificate, ISO 14001 environmental assurance certificate and meets OHSAS 18001 worker safety guidelines in its production plants, evidence of its commitment to a safe and clean environment. IZOCAM glass wool and rock wool products have benefited from CE marking since April 11. IZOCAM is the first manufacturer of insulating material that has been authorized to use CE marking in Turkey.
