The fuel supply of the plant is met through its captive coal mines. A 7 km cross-country conveyer pipeline has been set up for transportation of coal between the mines and the plant. The company has constructed a 258 km, 400 KV Double Circuit transmission line from the plant to the PGCIL substation at Raipur for distribution of power throughout India. For meeting the plant’s consumptive water requirement, 18 m high dam over the Kurket River has been built, 25 km away from the project site.</p>
