Ranging from tiny halogen lamps to different kinds of fluorescent light fittings, the products include Post top lanterns, Flood lights, Street lights with Mercury, Sodium and Metal Halide lamps for road lighting, industrial and other applications. The outdoor luminaires, several of them designed for CFL, are very popular and extensively used in leading hotels, amusement parks etc. K-LITE has the expertise to manufacture 'custom built' luminaires. K-LITE is fully equipped with in-house fabrication as K-LITE INDUSTRIESll as testing facilities and the products are tested for performance to relevant standards. The illumination laboratory is fully equipped to International Standards. Towards their contribution to the energy saving concepts, K-LITE actively associated in the extensive use of electronic lamp ballast in fluorescent light fittings. With the advent of Compact Fluorescent Lamps, K-LITE introduced these lamps in all lighting fixtures for outdoor as well as indoor. These CFL fixtures are energy efficient as also less expensive than other alternatives, resulting in saving of energy bills in a big way. K-LITE pioneered and embarked on several special designs and has a wide range of the so called soft lighting direct / indirect luminaires. This is over and above the existing mirror optics and dark lighters range. K-LITE has planned to enter into the lighting of the future viz. , LED luminaires in a big way and have already made a beginning. In a similar way, plans are afoot to go in for fiber optic lighting also. K-LITE entered into the export market during 91 and several of the luminaires and decorative lighting poles were exported to Russia, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Vietnam and Tanzania in recent years. With the exclusive infrastructure facilities established, K-LITE is also poised for greater exports during the coming years.
